Frequently asked questions
How do I know what capacity I need?
Capacity is determined by the number of people living in the house. Also take guests and planned future changes into account. If you are not sure, enter the number of people in the form and we will recommend a suitable model.
Is a biological system suitable for a summer cottage?
Yes, but keep in mind that after a longer break the biological process needs time to recover. We will recommend a model and operating mode suited to seasonal use.
How is a biological system different from a septic tank?
In a septic tank the wastewater mainly settles, and much of the pollution stays in the water. In a biological system, bacteria supplied with air break down the pollution, so the water is treated much more thoroughly.
Does the system need electricity?
Most biological systems have a compressor or pump that needs an electricity connection. The consumption of each model is stated in its description.
Do you provide installation?
Yes. Together with our partners we can provide installation after a site visit. We recommend that only experienced specialists install the system.
What documents are needed for installation?
Requirements differ between municipalities, so contact your local building authority before installation. The system comes with a Declaration of Performance (DoP) confirming compliance with EN 12566-3.
